Walk & Talk Therapy on the BeltLine: Healing in Motion

There’s something powerful about movement.
Not just physical movement, but emotional movement. Energetic shifts. The subtle release that happens when your body feels safe enough to let go.
That’s why I offer walk and talk therapy sessions along the Atlanta BeltLine. A space where healing doesn’t feel confined to four walls, but instead unfolds naturally, one step at a time.
Why Walk & Talk Therapy?
Traditional therapy has its place. But for many of us, especially high-functioning individuals who are always “on”, sitting still and making eye contact can feel intense.
Walk and talk therapy softens that.
When we walk side by side, something shifts:
You don’t feel “analyzed”
Your body relaxes
Your thoughts flow more freely
You become more present without even trying
Movement regulates the nervous system. It helps you process emotions in real time. And it allows your healing to feel less like work and more like a natural unfolding.
The Power of the BeltLine
The Atlanta BeltLine offers the perfect environment for this kind of therapy.
There’s life around you, people, art, nature, but also space to breathe. We can walk at your pace. Pause when something meaningful comes up. Sit when you need to ground yourself.
Some sessions are quiet and reflective.Others are deep, emotional, and expansive. Some are filled with laughter and lightness. There’s no “right” way to show up, just your way.
A Convenient, Grounded Starting Point
One of the things I love about offering walk and talk therapy is how accessible it can be.
I start sessions near Alkaloid Networks Co-working Space, which gives us a consistent and grounded meeting point. It’s a beautiful, intentional space that reflects the same energy I bring into my work, calm, connected, and community-centered.
Having a co-working space nearby also means:
Easy parking and accessibility
A place to transition into or out of session
Flexibility for hybrid sessions (indoor + outdoor when needed)
It creates a seamless experience so you can focus on what actually matters, your healing.
Who Is This For?
Walk and talk therapy is especially supportive if you:
Feel restless or disconnected in traditional therapy settings
Spend a lot of time in your head and want to reconnect to your body
Are navigating stress, burnout, or major life transitions
Want a more holistic, somatic approach to healing
Simply feel better when you’re outside and moving
This is therapy for the person who is ready to do the work, but wants it to feel more aligned, more embodied, and more real.
Healing Doesn’t Have to Be Heavy
One of my core beliefs is this:Healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy to be effective.
Sometimes it looks like:
Taking a deep breath under the sun
Noticing how your body feels as you walk
Saying something out loud that you’ve been holding in
Letting your shoulders drop for the first time all day
Sometimes it looks like remembering who you are, without pressure.
Ready to Walk With Me?
If you’re craving a different kind of therapy experience, one that integrates mind, body, and environment, walk and talk therapy might be exactly what you need.
This is your invitation to step outside…and come back to yourself.
